A Note About Me

The greatest pleasure of life in my mind is the ability to witness and appreciate the global masterpieces of human creation firsthand- and my appetite for such privilege is insatiable, embedded into my very soul from a young age. From this stems my passion for making art accessible to all.

Born in Almaty, Kazakhstan, I spent my early years at Haileybury Almaty before moving to the United States at 15 to attend Northfield Mount Hermon. My lifelong fascination with art was shaped by childhood travels with my family through which I became exposed to global museum and masterpieces at an early age. Despite growing up in a family of historians, doctors, and entrepreneurs—none of whom were involved in the arts—I always gravitated toward creative expression. However, it wasn’t until an internship in visual merchandising at Saks Fifth Avenue in Kazakhstan that I accepted that I belonged in the creative field. Returning for two more summers, I gained confidence in my decision and set my sights on Parsons School of Design in New York City.

At Parsons, I pursue Strategic Design and Management, blending my artistic inclinations with a structured approach into cultural strategy. Living in New York deepened my engagement with museums beyond childhood nostalgia, turning visits into a passionate habit. A semester in Paris in 2023, where I worked on an art-historical walking tour of Montparnasse, marked my first professional experience in arts and culture.

My professional experience extends to a cultural strategist role at the Kasteyev Museum, Kazakhstan’s largest art institution, and a current position as a gallery assistant at the Mriya Gallery located in Tribeca. I am also the founder of Tengreen Collective, an initiative dedicated to promoting Neo-Tengrism through art in the face of the Anthropocene, redefining communal attitudes toward nature and sustainability.

Based in New York, I remain committed to working with art, history, and cultural institutions, fostering meaningful connections between heritage and contemporary discourse.
